About the Event
On October 2, 2021, the SGVFD Fire Hogs M/C will be sponsoring the 2nd Annual Don Shawver Memorial Motorcycle Ride and Pete Goff Biker Games. The ride will be used to bring awareness to firefighter cancer, and all of the proceeds will go to The Firefighters Cancer Support Network.
Division Chief Don Shawver was a retired member of the Arcadia Fire Department who passed away due to job-related cancer. He was an avid motorcyclist, and Don’s passing brought the San Gabriel Valley Fire Hogs together with his family to develop the Don Shawver Memorial Motorcycle Ride.
Come join us as we ride from Arcadia Fire Depatment (630 S Baldwin Ave.) up through the San Gabriel Mountains before ending the ride at Mt. Lowe Brewing Co. (150 E. St. Joseph St.) for music, lunch, fundraising to benefit The Firefighters Cancer Support Network, and entertaining biker games.
