About the Event
On October 27 and 28, 2023, the SGVFD Fire Hogs M/C and Colorado River Cities Fire Hogs M/C will be sponsoring the 4th Annual Don Shawver Memorial Motorcycle Ride. This year, there will be a Boat Poker Cruise on October 27th. All participants may purchase their poker hands through this event. The boat poker cruise will be used to bring awareness to firefighter cancer, and all of the proceeds will go to .*There is no limit to the number of poker hands a participant may purchase.*The Firefighters Cancer Support Network and The Lake Havasu Firefighter Charities
Division Chief Don Shawver was a retired member of the Arcadia Fire Department who passed away due to job-related cancer. He was an avid motorcyclist, and Don’s passing brought the San Gabriel Valley Fire Hogs together with his family to develop the Don Shawver Memorial Motorcycle Ride.
