3rd Annual Don Shawver Memorial Ride

Division Chief Don Shawver was a retired member of the Arcadia Fire Department. Don passed away due to job-related cancer. He was an avid motorcyclist, and Don's passing brought the San Gabriel Valley Fire Hogs together with his family to develop the Don Shawver Memorial Motorcycle Ride. 

This year marks the 3rd annual Don Shawver Memorial Ride, and while we remain devoted to our cause of bringing awareness to firefighter cancer, we have also implemented some new and exciting changes to the ride. This year, the ride will be a Poker Run that begins and ends at Mt. Lowe Brewing Co. in Arcadia, CA. At the conclusion of the ride, the San Gabriel Valley Fire Hogs will be hosting the Pete Goff Memorial Biker Games. Furthermore, along St. Joseph St. in Arcadia, the San Gabriel Valley Fire Hogs will host several vendors and the In-N-Out Truck in a brand-new street fair. The celebration at the end of the ride will also feature live music, an auction, and a raffle.
